That's how our students describe our Live Online AAT accounting & bookkeeping courses. It's little wonder then that we were nominated by the AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians) for their "BEST USE OF E-LEARNING" award in 2016.
Our live online accounting & bookkeeping courses are fully accredited by the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT). AAT’s qualifications are recognised internationally by employers and other professional accounting bodies such as ACCA, ICAEW, CIMA, etc.
Our Live Online Courses are delivered via our interactive online classroom.
In our online classroom, a video feed of the digital whiteboard and the lecturer is broadcast live over the internet, in real time, to your computer. The video feed is not pre-recorded, there is a lecturer delivering the lecture with whom you can interact by asking questions or taking part in activities.

AAT Foundation Certificate in Bookkeeping from £298

With our Live Online Learning platform, you attend an interactive Online Classroom instead of attending a physical classroom at your college or training provider. Our LIVE online courses combine the best aspects of classroom based learning and distance learning. You log into the live online classroom in the similar way as you attend your local training provider - except that you do not travel to the classroom, it comes to you.
In the Online Classroom you can see and listen to your lecturer live, see the digital whiteboard and you can also have discussions with your fellow students.
"Choosing to study your AAT qualification online via LIVE distance learning with Learning Academy gives you the opportunity to study at home and you don't miss the class environment and the opportunity to ask questions! It's like being in a class but without leaving your home and need to travel."Lidia (read full review )
On the digital whiteboard your lecturer can draw illustrations, write hand-written notes, open up digital handouts and annotate them, and use software like Microsoft Excel and Sage Accounting Software. Truly, the possibilities are endless.
Yes, of course. You can chat with your lecturer and fellow students using instant messaging via the Chat module in the Online Classroom or you can talk to them if you have a pair of headphones and a microphone. You can also use your webcam if you like. You can also “raise your hand” to get your lecturer's attention like you can in a physical classroom.
Once you have joined the course, we will email you the link to join the interactive Online Classroom. Simply click the link and it will take you to the login page for the Online Classroom. Once there, type in your name and click “Enter Room”. That's it.
In addition to the live online classes, the teaching material also includes printed handouts. We will send these to you when you join the course. Your lecturer will refer to these handouts in the live online lectures. So keep them handy when you attend the online lectures.
You don't need to download any special software to attend the live online lectures. You just need a computer, a web browser and a fast broadband connection (ideally atleast 2Mbps). You can check the speed of your internet connection at Speedtest.net.
You will also need a headset with a microphone so that you can talk with your lecturer and fellow students.
There are apps available for the Android and iOS operating systems that allow you to attend the Live Online Lectures on your tablet or mobile device. However, bear in mind that our lecturers use desktop computers to deliver the lectures and so you may not be able to see all the details on the digital whiteboard on a small screen.
As a result, we would recommend that you use a laptop or desktop computer to attend the Live Online lectures.
Before you join the course we will invite you to attend two demo sessions where you can test if your device and internet connection are ideal for our Online Classroom.
